1st off. For those that are new to this. Every DVR is different. So there is a slight learning curve. 2nd. All the cameras I have purchased don t last for ever. You upgrade as you go. And 3rd. If you loose a video 99 of the time it is the power feed. I buy the multiple power cord with 4 to 8 hook up. Called- Sercurity Camera Power Adapter 12v 5a They cause me my problems. I have to replace those - a lot. It could be my old house that burns them out. But I need them so I buy in multiples.
