This control box mounts under the chair, and the motor s , the hand control cord, and the cord from the transformer all plug into it. PLEASE NOTE that this control box is for chairs that normally have two motors, one for the up down, and another for the back, and the chair has heat and/or massage. The hand control for this type chair will have a large thumb switch for the up down, and smaller switches below that for the heat massage. TECHNICAL TIP: If the chair won't move at all, and you hear a loud “click” from this control box, then the control box may be the problem if you don't hear a click, then the problem is most likely either the hand control or the transformer . Also, if one motor runs and the other one doesn't, then just swap the plugs – if the other motor now runs, then the problem is in the control box. If any questions at all, please let us know.
