Customer reviewsPossibly poor quality
After six months, the lights "blew". The fan still worked and works even now, but the lights don't. Crazy. We changed all the light bulbs, to no avail, and we've had an electrician come out to the house to check to make sure there is nothing wrong with any wiring. Given that the ceiling fan was installed properly to start with and had worked just fine both the lights and the fan for over six months, the problem is not improper installation. The electrician came again today, but still, the lights do not work. It looks like the "light box" inside the fan compartment "burned out" and needs to be replaced. So, now we have to buy that part and have it installed, and hope, with fingers crossed, that the lights will work. Meanwhile, we can use the fan, but it's hard to cook "by fan" -- this ceiling fan is in the kitchen. I've always liked Hunter ceiling fans, and have one in every other room in the house. This is the first one to "konk out" after only six months. Contacting Hunter didn't help, and there is no other method other than this 'review' provided by Amazon to notify of less than stellar performance. It was a great ceiling fan while it lasted....but six months just isn't long enough. :-
