Innr Smart Lights work over ZigBee with the bridge from Innr, Philips Hue* or Samsung SmartThings and the Echo Plus or Show 2nd gen . *The Hue bridge does currently not support Apple HomeKit control nor the Entertainment functionality for non-Philips lamps, but the can be controlled by the Hue app.

Innr Smart Lights can be voice controlled by Amazon Alexa or Google Home, when combined with a Hue bridge. This Zigbee 3.0 generation requires the Philips Hue bridge for ALL Alexa devices, such as the Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Spot, and Echo Show 1st Gen. It is also compatible with the Hive system if connected to a Philips Hue bridge.

This Zigbee 3.0 version makes installation very easy Please try to pair the bulb close to the bridge or hub. Once it is part of the network, the distance can be increased. Instruction videos for Hue and Echo Plus installation can be found in the Amazon Brand Store.

TheCalvs: Color is slightly different than Hue bulbs, but cost is much less.

Timing and color are slightly off compared to official Philips Hue bulbs. Also if you use the Hue Entertainment Area feature of the Hue app, these bulbs are not compatible. However, these bulbs are almost half the cost of the Hue bulbs and work fairly well. The value is certainly here. I would love to see this company branch off and make some of the uncommon bulb sizes such as candelabra and led light strip. They are not perfect Hue replacements for the reasons at the beginning of this review, but the cost compared to Hue bulbs will have me buying more to expand my setup into even more rooms.
