These rugs remain true to tradition with the help of hand-knotted construction. Hand-knotted rugs are the highest caliber of quality on the rug market for their meticulous and dense construction. These investment pieces are built to last.
Hand-knotted rugs are manually built on large, vertical looms, with a weaver creating each individual knot. The rug is then sheared to create an even pile. This intricate method yields the highest quality rug available on the market.
A rug in the bedroom adds an extra layer of coziness. A large rug that fills most of the floor space is ideal. You can place the rug underneath the night stands, or let the rug extend a bit past the foot of the bed. The most important thing to consider is having a comfortable landing for your feet when climbing in and out of bed. Another economical solution is to add two runners on either side of the bed.
In the dining room, you'll always want your rug to extend well past the table and chairs, keeping chair legs from catching on the rug when pulled in and out. An 8 x 10 rug is a common choice under a rectangular dining table. A round rug is also a great option if you have a square or round dining table. 8 x 8 is typically a good size for a standard square table.
In the living room, you'll want the rug to either partially or completely extend under furniture. For an open floor plan, an area rug that fully extends under all of the furniture is a great way to define the space. An 8 x 10 rug or larger is usually ideal. If your space is smaller or your larger pieces of furniture are up against the wall, having a rug under just the front two legs of your largest pieces will make the room look larger. A 5 x 7 rug or larger will usually work for this arrangement.
Kitchens get a lot of foot traffic, so a just small 2 x 3 rug in front of the sink keeps the space tidy while adding some support where it s needed. Alternatively, if you have a galley kitchen or an island, a runner makes a perfect floor covering for the full length of the space.

Customer reviewsSuper thick and beautiful modern wool rug, color good for high traffic and homes with pets
The color is as pictured, a very dark burnt orange with brown edge. I have several Momeni rugs that have lasted for many years. Unfortunately I had to replace one when our new puppy chewed the edge-- otherwise all are in great shape. This color has been great for a high traffic area. The color does not show dog hair or dirt. 100 wool and highly recommended.
