DOWNLOAD THE RIGHT APP ICON OF A BLUE HOUSESave yourself some time when configuring the bulb. Multiple apps are called Smart Life. Be sure to download the app with an icon of a blue house. Otherwise, you ll waste time configuring incompatible apps. QR code readers never worked well for me, so I had to learn the hard way. Once you figure that out, the array of options are easy to use and impressive. The bulb is part of a greater Smart Life ecosystem that cleverly integrates with Alexa and Google Home. Then you can control lighting with your voice. Fantastic for turning off the lights before bed without having to move. Or, you can turn on lighting to quickly find something without fumbling in the dark. I should have done this sooner, as the start-up costs for a bulb and Echo Dot are very affordable Once you open your mind to the possibilities, you may realize how useful AI tech can be for daily living
