Complement the varied tones of the fan with the rich applewood blade finish, detailed with a dark, shaded edge, perfect for that added rustic touch. In the summer, Westinghouse ceiling fans keep your home pleasantly cool. The ceiling fan runs counterclockwise, and sets the air in motion. The airflow creates a wind chill effect on your skin. Using a ceiling fan and air conditioning unit simultaneously allows you to raise your thermostat setting without a change in comfort.
In winter, Westinghouse ceiling fans can be switched to the clockwise direction. As a result, the warm air that collects near the ceiling is distributed evenly throughout the room eliminating cold spots and drafts. Turn fans on only when using rooms in which they re located to dramatically increase your comfort level and decrease energy costs.
The Stella Mira ceiling fan has a down rod only installation system. During installation use the down rod included in the package. You can also use extension down rods in rooms with high or sloped ceilings.

Customer reviewsGreat fan
I was nervous about buying a Westinghouse brand fan as I don't know the company as a fan manufacturer. The fan is awesome. No wobble, it looks great, very sturdy, doesn't make a motor noise at all, and is easy to install. We installed it on a 12ft ceiling with a slope. Yes it can be installed on a sloped ceiling which I was concerned about. The fan can only be controlled by a wall on/off light switch which is what we did. You cannot control fan settings from the wall as the receiver only has power on or off so individual light fan settings are all controlled by the remote. We keep the fan on the setting we want and and turn it on or off using the wall. So inexpensive and great that we purchased a different model from Westinghouse we put in another room and it's just as great.
